what can cause a high red blood count and protein in urine in 17 year old boy?
during routine check up, we were told he had some protein in his urine and a high red blood count. dr said it may be dehydration but he drinks fairly often. he is to go back in 1 mo to recheck.
It could be so many things ranging from simple to more complicated. Only your doctor can diagnose it for sure. Take heart though, as most of the time it is nothing. If he is very athletic, he can have this from dehydration regardless of the fact that he drinks a lot.
Please let the doctor handle the diagnosis and the care. He is more qualified than anyone in here. He has also seen and examined your son.

when baby hamsters have red eyes what does that mean?
cause today we got a baby hamster and we saw that its eyes where like a red red Not like a cherry red more like a light

Some hamsters, if they are white and have red eyes, are albino. Not All White hamsters with red eyes are albino, though. Cinnamon and all cinnamon combinations normally have red eyes. The cinnamon gene dilutes the color of the coat and ears and also gives the hamster red eyes. Sadly, some hamsters with red eyes are blind. This should be easy to test in your hamster.

How to treat a cut on the fingertip?
i cut a small tip of my finger off while using a slicing machine. part of the nail and a small part of flesh were cut. the cut didn't go all the way through and has closed the wound. kind of like an apple that you cut in half and keep together. should i see a doctor? how do i take a shower w/o getting it wet? the cut is like less than a centemeter wide.
after i cut myself i ran the cut through warm water and put pressure on it to stop it from bleeding.
If this cut ie, laceration occured within a 24 hour period it is important that you contact a physician it ensure you may or may not need sutures for proper wound closure and healing. Also, when was your last tetnus shot? If you can't remember it's probally time for another. Regarding the first aid at the time of the cut; did you use an antiseptic to clean the wound?
You should apply some type of antiseptic such as neosporin, wrap or dress the wound with clean gauze or sterile band aid or some type. It should be changed at least daily. You can shower but do not let the wound get wet if possible, especially in standing water such as a bath.

what do i wear to a 7th grade dance that would match my personality which is emo??
I would have to say..(considering i was in 7th grade last year). Uhm, I would say either a black kinda longer dress, like right below the knees, and maybe short sleeves or longer sleeves either way is fine. If you don't like that Idea what about just plain jeans and a nice blouse...??

When to wear pantyhose?
I'll be seventeen in a few months, and I have a full-time job as the front office coordinator / receptionist at a dental practice. The main tenet of their dress code is to simply not wear jeans -- they require more of a business casual look (ie slacks and blouses, flats, etc.).
Do I absolutely need to wear pantyhose when I wear a dress or skirt to work? I am very, very fair-skinned (I cannot tan for the life of me) and so my legs are definitely quite white, but keep in mind that I do live in a fairly warm climate (and it is now summer). When I do wear pantyhose, it is nude or at least as sheer as possible. I typically wear closed toe flats to work, although I do have a few pairs of Open Toe flats that I do sometimes wear with dresses (and they do look rather odd with pantyhose . . . suggestions?).
